Your gift or membership contribution does make a difference.  As a non-profit organization, Sumter Senior Services depends on grants and private support. Contributions are vital to the continuation and expansion of services.  Donations are tax deductible and help one of the most important segments of our society - older adults.  

     Annual membership is a low cost way of helping out.   Just fill in the membership form and return it with your payment.  As a member, you will receive a copy of our newsletter, Senior Lifestyles, which is an information publication about seniors and for seniors.  The membership categories are;

     There are so many ways you can help us to continue serving the senior population of Sumter County.  See below to see how your contributions can help.

     Endowment Plans: Several plans are available and often times provide a substantial tax benefit to the giver.  For example, you can endow real estate property, cash, life insurance policies or identify Sumter Senior Services a beneficiary in your will. Call 773-5508 to learn more.

     Monetary Contributions: You can designate a particular service i.e. senior centers, home delivered meals, transportation, RSVP, or homemaking services that will benefit from your financial donation.  You can also sponsor a senior.  By donating a minimum $25 to sponsor a senior, you can provide a week's supply of hot nutritional meals for a homebound senior.  You decide.  Contributions are always greatly appreciated
