The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) invites adults age 55 and over to use their life experience and skills to answer the call in meeting the needs of the Sumter County communities.  RSVP volunteers help solve serious problems in their communities.

     Today's older adults are busy, productive people.  After retirement, many RSVP volunteers use their experience to tutor and mentor children, assist in health clinics, help at Senior Centers providing assistance such as computer training, physical activities classes, arts and crafts.  Many of our RSVP volunteers work at agencies that help the needy, distribute food, Meals On Wheels, Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross.

     RSVP of Sumter has 34 sites located throughout Sumter County.
