Nutritious meals which meet the USDA recommended daily allowances are delivered to frail, homebound seniors who are unable to purchase, prepare or otherwise obtain their own meals. To qualify you must be 60 years of age, the spouse or dependent of a person 60 years of age who is receiving services and/or live in a senior housing community. We have 18 home delivered meal routes delivering daily hot meals and weekly frozen entrees with fresh supplements throughout Sumter and Sumter County.  While most of our services are provided free or with cost sharing, or client contributions, we also provide private pay services.

Daily transportation service is provided for clients attending the senior centers.  In addition transportation to doctors appointments, shopping and bill paying is provided on Mondays and Fridays for a nominal fee

General light housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens and laundering are provided for clients who are unable to perform these duties.  In addition to housekeeping services we also provide companion/sitter services and respite for the caregiver.  While most of our services are provided free or with cost sharing or client contributions, we also provide private pay services.

Structured health promotion and physical fitness classes are offered at our senior centers. Informative presentations, light aerobic activities, resistance training exercises, and health screen tests are some of the activities provided.
